Conflicts in the Information Space
Keywords:
Information, Misinformation, Public Knowledge, Public, MediaAbstract
This paper systematically starts from the definition of terms: information, misinformation, misinformation and intoxication. With the development of technologies, communications, new media and a number of new scientific disciplines, information is becoming the center of a number of areas. The aim of this paper is to show how information becomes an element of power, a weapon in business, political, cultural and a number of other areas. Through the research part of the paper and through the paper itself, examples of the spread of misinformation and the consequences it leaves are presented. From the above examples, we can conclude that it is no longer important whether the media transmitted something or not, but the way in which they transmitted a certain event or were even constructs of that event.
