This issue of Media Dialogues / Medijski dijalozi brings together articles addressing public relations, historical memory, web technologies, higher education, media systems, and post-socialist transformation. The volume opens with an analysis of changes and development directions in the Polish public relations industry, including the construction and use of the public relations industry condition index. It is followed by a study based on archival sources concerning the role and importance of the state border in the awareness of the society of the Second Republic of Poland.
The issue also includes an article on innovative web service technologies and security protocols, with particular attention to SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, XACML, SAML and IPSec. Another contribution discusses new media in higher education through the perspective of virtual exchange and selected digital tools, including Trello, Slack, Perusall and Flipgrid. The final part of the volume focuses on broader social, political and institutional dimensions of media and transition processes, including the role of the media in post-socialist indoctrination and the current problems and dilemmas of Montenegrin transition.
